Commissioned as part of the Renaissance London’s Exploring 20th Century London project, this site is aimed at 7-12 year olds and invites children to discover what it was like living as a child in 20th Century London, through featured objects, selected from the city’s museum collections. The website is designed as an ornate pop-up history book. By leafing through its pages, children encounter stories, games and quizzes, all brought to life with a good dose of humorous animation, provided by their own customised ghost avatar. After all – ghost stories are always the most compelling!
