Twitter Class Assignment instructions
Dear students,We will be using Twitter throughout this term to accomplish a number of tasks such as to introduce new questions, add additional comments or suggestions or share information (links, etc) relevant to the module material and content.
Also, we will use Twitter to communicate with each other, and as you build followers, to begin to establish a proffesional persona online.
You must complete the following tasks before midnight, Friday, January 13th.
- Create a Twitter account (if you don’t already have one).
- Fill out your profile. If you choose a username that is not easily identifiable with your real name, you should tell me about it so that I can give you credit for your posts.
- Make your profile public. (If you already have a private Twitter account that you want to keep private, create a new account for this class.)
- Find and follow people from our field of interest (English Language Learning, Educación Infantil, education, FP, Preschool, kindergarten, or chosen profession. Choose at least 5 among the ones the English Department is following.
- After a few days, if you don’t want to follow them anymore, stop following them.
- Post a message to your account which includes the following hashtag: #EI. In the future, include this hashtag in all messages you want to be seen by the class.
- Begin posting Tweets.
- Finally, on Friday search for the course hashtag (#EI) and follow all the other members of the class.
